The home
A single-fronted Edwardian in Kew East, full of charm but tight on space. The styling had to be careful, enough to warm the rooms without ever crowding them.
The Brief
Keep the period feel and make the rooms photograph generously. Less, placed well.
A boucle chair and a low sofa held the living room, with a round mirror to bounce the light. We kept the palette warm white with a single ochre note.
The bedroom stayed soft, a quilted throw and a leaning mirror to lift the proportions.
In the dining we used a compact setting and a sculptural light, so the room read complete without feeling full.
